YOUR ROLE
As a Barista at Food Emporium, your core responsibility is to craft high-quality beverages while ensuring a welcoming and efficient service experience. Key duties include:
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Taking customer orders and managing the point-of-sale system
- Performing daily equipment checks and minor maintenance
- Following hygiene and safety standards consistently
- Engaging with customers and upholding brand values
- Supporting team members during peak hours
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
To thrive in this role, we expect:
- Strong Barista skills with an understanding of coffee preparation techniques
- Experience in food preparation and customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume service periods
- Prior hospitality or café experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is an advantage
