YOUR ROLE
As a Truck Driver at Secure Towing & Storage, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving straight trucks, tow trucks, roll-off and flatbed vehicles
- Performing thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Loading/unloading cargo and securing it properly (tarping, if needed)
- Handling dangerous goods and ensuring all safety measures are met
- Communicating with dispatch and completing all required documentation
- Addressing customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Supporting and mentoring team members when needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
- AZ Class License (Air Brake Endorsement included)
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in truck driving
- Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with documentation (logbooks, trip reports, inspection reports)
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments
- Familiarity with local, regional, and short-haul transport
- Equipped with personal safety gear (steel-toed boots, gloves, cell phone)
