YOUR ROLE
As a Storekeeper, you will play a critical role in inventory accuracy, goods management, and the overall supply chain workflow. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming goods and supplies
- Monitoring stock levels and processing restocking requests
- Organizing and maintaining storage areas for safe and efficient access
- Preparing outgoing shipments and coordinating logistics
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records in the system
- Conducting regular audits and physical inventory checks
- Communicating with suppliers for timely delivery and procurement
- Ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Training junior team members on storekeeping procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
- Previous experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or logistics
- Familiarity with inventory software and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to operate forklifts or related machinery (if required)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items safely
