YOUR ROLE
As a Babysitter in the home of Gregoire Fofou, meaningful care will be provided to infants and children in a nurturing and structured environment. Daily routines, hygiene, learning, and emotional support will be part of this fulfilling and dynamic role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Changing diapers and supporting toilet training as guided by parents
- Sterilizing bottles and preparing infant formula
- Taking full household responsibility in the parents’ absence
- Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
- Caring for foster children and pets
- Supporting emotional well-being and social development
- Helping with schoolwork, organizing activities, and planning outings
- Accompanying the family on trips as needed
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
This role is well suited for individuals who:
- Have a kind and patient demeanor with children
- Are willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings and on-call shifts
- Are physically capable of household duties and childcare tasks
- Are willing to travel with the family when needed
- Can communicate in English or French (additional languages are a plus)
- Have a willingness to learn and grow through hands-on experience
