Requirements for Automotive Technicians:
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Trade certification in Automotive Engineering
- Proven experience in multi-franchise servicing and diagnostics
- Strong mechanical repair skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- A full, clean NZ driver’s license
- A current WOF ticket is a bonus, but not required
Key Responsibilities as an Automotive Technician:
As an integral member of the service team, your duties include:
- Conducting diagnostic assessments and mechanical repairs
- Completing scheduled servicing and maintenance work
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working collaboratively in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Liaising professionally with service advisors and customers
