Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain horticultural machinery such as tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and forklifts.
- Perform routine checks and servicing of machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in land preparation, planting, irrigation, and fertilization using appropriate equipment.
- Transport materials, tools, and harvested produce within the worksite using machinery.
- Follow health and safety procedures while handling machinery and equipment.
- Identify and report any mechanical faults or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- Ensure efficient operation of machinery to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Assist with general farm duties when not operating machinery.
- Adhere to environmental and industry regulations while using pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
- Train and support other workers in the safe operation of machinery if required.
