We have a great opportunity for a seasoned, reliable truck driver who has solid local delivery and linehaul experience to join our team in a full time role at our site in Hornby, Christchurch.

Responsibilities and Duties

To be considered for this role you will need to following:

Excellent customer service skills
Be well presented and have excellent communication skills
A solid driving track record – clean and current Class 4 license
Ability to work the following hours / runs;
- local runs 4am – 12.30pm
- out of town runs (Nelson, Cromwell, Dunedin, Greymouth) 1am – 11am

Be physically fit to be able to load glass products on and off the truck
Solutions focused – “no or can’t” is not in our vocab!

Qualifications and Skills

Class 4 driving licence.
A minimum of 2 years Class 4 driving experience.
Our drivers play an integral part of our business as they are responsible for not only the delivery of our products, they also load and unload their trucks ensuring our product arrives on time and in excellent condition. As the nature of the role requires the handling (loading and unloading) of glass products (double glazed window units, toughened shower panels, toughened balustrades, etc), you will need to be physically fit. We do have mechanical lifting gear for the larger pieces.
You must also have a degree of flexibility in your hours of work and willing to work overtime (will vary depending on weather and road conditions).
